  1. Agha Bozorg Mosque

Agha Bozorg is a mosque and school in kashan which was constructed in 19th century. It is said that this mosque is a good example of Qajari architecture of Iran. This mosque has a simple symmetric pattern and very beautiful appearance.

Plaster works, paintings, wooden works and tile works are among decorations of this mosque.

  1. Tepe Sialk

Sialk is the first civilization of Iran which is located in Kashan. This ancient site has a more than 7500 years of history and is basically remains of an ancient ziggurat and worship place of people.

Searching the place, archaeologists could find human skeleton and ancient dishes. The oldest works discovered in Sialk date back to 7500 years ago. Some of these works are kept in Louvre Museum and some in national Museum of Iran.

  1. Kashan Bazaar

Kashan Bazaar, constructed in Safavid era, was registered as Iran’s national heritage list. It is the oldest bazaar of Kashan which has many shops. It is believed that Kashan Bazaar was built in Seljuq dynasty and undergone some repairs and renovations in Safavid era. It has a very beautiful architecture and its stunning ceiling is a must be seen feature that will astonish you!

This bazaar, located in city center, is still in use and there are many other historical sites all around it such as baths and mosques, each one belongs to a different era.

Abbasian house is an old and large house in Kashan which is registered as Iran national heritage list. It is famous for its beautiful architecture and different decorations.

This historical house was constructed in Qajar era and there are evidence that prove the construction of it lasted for twenty years. The stunning Iranian and Islamic architecture style, delicate plaster works and decorations will astonish you! Some experts believe that Abbasian house is the most beautiful Iranian-Islamic house of the country.

  1. Fin Garden

Fin garden of Kashan is a garden which dates back to Safavid dynasty. In fact its constructing process started in early Safavid dynasty in 16th century but was developed during the time and witnessed many changes.

Water has been a very important element in designing Fin garden. You will see water in stagnant form, fountains, water in small pools and narrow streams. Abundant water in an area which normally doesn’t have much water and tall, green trees have made a very beautiful and pleasant place. In fact the garden is located in the heart of a desert; such a nice contrast that will amaze any visitor!

The garden is among most visited historical sites of Isfahan province. The complex and all buildings in it, is registered as a World Heritage site in 2012.

The interesting point about the architecture of this garden is that it has different elements of different periods of Iran’s history, as it was developed and modified over the years. Inside the buildings and domes you will enjoy delicate and beautiful tile works.

Also, Fin bathroom (Hamam-e- Fin-e- Kashan) is located in this garden. The bath alone is a historical and famous site of Kashan which attracts many tourists from Iran and world.

  1. Abyaneh village

One of the best parts of your travel to Kashan can be exploring the different village of Abyaneh. Abyaneh is a very small village (population: 301) located in south of Kashan. The village is also called red village, as the soil of this area has high amount of iron oxide and has a beautiful red color. The houses and buildings in this village have a history of hundreds of years.

There is no evidence to prove the age of this historical village, but experts believe that it possibly date back to 1500 years ago. There are works and buildings in Abyaneh which belong to Sasanian Empire, Saljuq, Safavid and Qajar dynasty which prove the oldness of this village.

This village will definitely be a unique destination while traveling to Kashan!
